Filtronic launches into the future and achieves a strategic partnership with SpaceX for the Starlink constellation


Filtronic, a leader in high-performance millimeter wave technologies, today signed a strategic partnership and commercial agreement with SpaceX, a leader in the low Earth orbit market.
The strategic partnership includes the continued supply of Filtronic’s cutting-edge E-band solid-state power amplifiers (SSPAs), along with collaborative efforts in the development and supply of comparable products in multiple frequency bands critical to SpaceX’s Starlink platform. .
The deal was signed with an initial order of $19.7m (£15.8m) to supply E-band SSPA modules, with delivery scheduled for fiscal 2025 and expected to continue thereafter. order flow to support the ongoing deployment of SpaceX’s Starlink constellation, which provides high-speed, low-latency Internet to users around the world.

Nat brings extensive experience in both public and private technology companies. He has held a number of senior management positions in the high-tech and semiconductor sector, most recently as CEO of Dukosi Ltd, where he led the company from its startup phase to becoming a global technology leader.

Previously, Nat was CEO of Cambridge CMOS Sensors, and has held executive leadership roles at AMS AG and Wolfson Microelectronics, where he led the companies through periods of rapid growth, as well as a non-executive position at AIM-listed Concurrent Technologies plc. . Supply of DSGTs satellite communications solutions for NATO
