The Civil Guard awards Aicox the modernization of its surveillance system in the Strait

The Spanish company Aicox will update the SIVE (Integrated Outdoor Surveillance System) of Cádiz and Ceuta, equipped with cameras to detect drug boats and boats.

The Civil Guard has awarded Aicox Soluciones, in a joint venture with Telefónica, a contract of 28.6 million euros for the modernization of the equipment of the Integrated External Surveillance System (SIVE) in the area of ​​the Strait of Gibraltar -Cádiz, Algeciras and Ceuta.

Aicox has won the contract with its TITAN ELECTRO-OPTICAL SYSTEM, which consists of a series of sensors and cameras, both fixed and mobile, that allow the detection of drug boats and immigrant boats approaching the Spanish coast at a certain distance.
